A Club Culture Icon.

“The Hitman and Her” was a late-night dance music TV show that aired on Granada TV from 1988 to 1992. It was the brainchild of Pete Waterman (the “Hitman”) and was co-hosted by Michaela Strachan (the “Her”).

Pete Waterman was already a legendary music producer from Stock Aitken Waterman (SAW), the team behind pop hits for Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Jason Donovan, and Bananarama.

Wiggy Clive was one of the resident dancers on the show, known for his high-energy moves and wild style. He became a cult figure in UK dance culture, with many people remembering him as a symbol of the late 80s/early 90s clubbing scene.

His crazy dance style and larger-than-life personality made him a stand-out, and he helped define the era’s clubbing aesthetic.
